Oversized, high-density VPD elbow pads are the most advanced protective padding for skiing, snowboarding, and cycling. They feature heavy duty velcro straps, padded Aramid/Lycra fabric above and below the elbow, and breathable reinforced spandex mesh fabric at the interior bend of the elbow. Made with VPD, or visco-elastic polymer dough. If you work it slowly in your hands, it's soft and conforms easily around shapes. But slam something and it becomes instantly hard.
