Gommitalia Targa K 700x23c Tire

Handmade in Italy with an open tubular design, the Targa K features a 22 mm cross section designed with high density 250 TPI casing. The Polyester/Cotton/Kevlar casing provides superior handling and performance and is made in a like manner to a traditional tubular tire, but is not sewn together on the underside. The tread is then hand glued onto this casing. Comparable clinchers are "cooked" or vulcanized which results in a much less flexible casing/tread bond.
